 Ok, we all know what this about so I am just going get right in to it!

 If your an Auburn Fan then I assume if your on Facebook that you are a member of the AuFamily page.  For those of you who are not then what I am about to say will be new to you.

 In recent conversations online with my fellow Auburn friends, we talked about this as soon as we knew about it. In my opinion the media is beefing this up. Now since we don't know exactly what is true.. what we do have to work with is the fact that he wasn't arrested... From the ESPN post on FaceBook it said that he only has to pay $1,000 for the citation and $100 for the window tint, and if he pays it by September 10th then it's basically him paying a ticket off.

  I Know.... Yes I know what he did was not "right" in most people's eyes.... But if you ask me it's not "right" for the players to go out to parties and get drunk or plastered either in my book!! But you don't see them getting kicked off the team... I am talking Every College!! 

 That being said Yes I believe that Nick Marshall needs to be disciplined!! Maybe the first half of the Arkansas game... and drug test him the rest of the season. Now of course he needs some time for it to get out of his system.. which the 49 or 50 days till the game should give him more than enough time.

 I do not believe he deserves to be kicked off the team. It's basically a ticket... how many players have gotten speeding tickets?? If he is kicked off then the drinkers need to go too.... That's my opinion and all I have to say about this matter!! I know that Gus Malzahn will take care of the situation as he sees fit!

My NBA2K14 Game- Play full review!!!

 If you have been reading my blogs then you know that I just recently totally step outside of my video game box and started playing NBA2K14. Well believe it or not I actually love the game and have been having a lot of fun playing it.  I got out of playing basketball video games a long time ago. In fact Tecmo Basketball, Jordan vs Bird, and NBA Jam were my Favorite basketball games so that should give you an idea of how old I am lol!!

     Anyways back to my NBA2K14 review. From the start I was hooked on the graphics and liked how free flowing the game play is. Every once in a while I have seen players running in to each other but only noticed that happening during the cut scene before free throws. As far as game play controls go, I found them to be very easy to learn, especially for someone who has never played the NBA2K series.

 My favorite part of the game is the My Career mode. I played pretty good in the NBA pre- draft day game and was picked 15^th or 16^th in the first round by the LA Clippers. I don’t know if you automatically get picked in the first round or if it is truly based on how you played in the pre-draft game. The Draft day presentation was a pretty cool cut scene!

 After being drafted you then have choices to make, I like how they give you the option of what you want to say. With whichever response you make, it changes the outcome of your game. For instance you have a meeting with the GM and you can choose to say things are good with the team, I want the ball more, I want more minutes, or I want a trade. You also go through the rookie rite of passage stage and are able to respond to the players, your response to them change the outcome of your game too. For example the first time I was confronted by a player and asked to start wheeling his luggage around, I was cool with that so I agreed to it. Then a few games later a player came to me and tried to get me to wear a clown nose around, I wasn't cool with that so I responded with a negative answer. After that during the next game the team players wouldn't pass me the ball unless I excessively pressed the pass button.

  Needless to say I wasn't having any part of that and since I am not really a Clippers fan I asked for a trade and was later traded to the Boston Celtics where I am currently playing and actually doing pretty good. I haven’t made it to Starter just yet, but I am 6^th man and get 23 minutes of play time and average 30 points a game. I think that’s pretty good.

 Well that’s my review on NBA2K14 I am even going as far to give it 5 Stars and I totally recommend this game for everyone. I am confident that anyone who plays it will have just as much fun as I have!

My Review on Noah!!

Hello Everyone War Eagle to ya, Welcome to Joe's Sports and More Blog!!

 Before I get started on my review I would like to say something. I understand that we live in a world full of different types of beliefs and religions. That being said I am not one to hassle others if they do not believe as me and I am not one to take others beliefs and make fun of them or disrespect them. For example I wouldn't take a story from the Koran and make a movie and butcher the story!!

  Well Darren Aronofsky did just that with Noah!! Honestly I didn't know until a few minutes before we went to see Noah that Darren is an atheist. I am not one to listen to all the movie critics and media when it comes to going to watch a movie. I admit I read a little bit of Glen Becks review and took it with a grain of salt. I really only have one #1 go to movie critic that I trust for reviews and even with his reviews I will still go see a movie if it doesn't get a good rating. So I gave Noah a chance.

 I was highly dis-pleased with this movie and very very disappointed! Honestly after seeing the pre TV released previews on IMDB  ( Internet Movie Data Base) I thought they looked good and I was excited that a movie about Noah was being made with the awesome technology that we have today! This Noah is nothing like the Noah of the Bible! It even goes to extremes having mythical rock creatures. I seriously got lost in the story line and I do not mean lost as in oh where did the time go... I mean lost as in being in the middle of nowhere and not knowing which way is up or down.

 Never in my life have I been to a movie to where I really wanted to get up and leave, but this movie had me there. The only reason I didn't leave is because my Fiance' wanted to finish the movie to be able to have an honest opinion of the movie. For the record she didn't like it either. I even left with a bad attitude, I have never left a movie like that before either. So as you can tell by now I do not recommend this movie and on my 5 Star movie rating it gets a Big Fat 0 Stars!! I really wished Noah would have been a good movie!

Stepping Out Of the Box!!!

Good Evening Everyone War Eagle to ya, Welcome to Joe's Sports and More Blog!!

 From my last video game blog I talked about infamous second son. Since I didn't like it I took it back to GameStop and traded it in for EA Sports NBA Live 14! I really stepped out of my box to get a basketball game!! I played the demo and thought it seemed cool so I figured I should give it a shot.

 Well needless to say it totally sucked, ok it wasn't too.... naw seriously it SUCKED!! Many of times when I would call for a pass as soon as I got it... my  player would automatically pass the ball away. Many of those passes it made me pass away were wide open shots. I thought to myself maybe I should do a restart since it did just download a lot of updates. So I did but that didn't fix the problem, it still kept on happening.


 That being said the next day I traded EA Sports NBA Live 14 for NBA2K14!! Now FYI I have Always been a fan of EA Sports Madden Football over 2K!! So dabbling in to the 2K world for basketball is stepping 5 boxes out of my box!

 What I am about to say is really Shocking..... I am totally impressed with NBA2K14!! There I said it seriously on a 5 Star scale I give it 5 Stars!! ( Note this 5 Star Scale is based solely on the PS4 )

Infamous Second Son After Game- Play Review!!!

Good Afternoon War Eagle to ya, Welcome to Joe's Sports and More Blog!!

 Infamous Second Son.......... Yeah........ about that....

   Ummm..Well I didn't like it, I give it props as far as graphics go though. It gets repetitive real quick and I got bored with it. It has the feel of a Spiderman game I played years ago. After playing it for the first time Friday night I didn't pick it up and play again until Sunday night. I had time on Saturday to be able to play but instead I chose to play Madden 25! I just wasn't impressed enough to play Infamous Second Son again! 

 So on a 5 star rating I give it 2 stars. That's just my opinion and we all know what they say about opinions!!  There are some of you that may like it and some that agree with me. It's all up to the Gamer!! If you have played the game and like or dislike it, feel free to leave a comment and let me know what you think.

The Joys of Customer Service!!!!!!

 This Blog is a getting something off my chest blog.
Today I had what I consider a buzz kill or bring ya down moment that is really bothering me. It really amazes me no matter how nice you are to people they really don't care. For example I had a regular customer get upset with me today over something that was no one else's fault but their own. So here is what happened.

 It's two minutes till closing time the customer walks in, of course I am in the process of putting things away, I politely welcome the customer in as I do every customer. Well right after the customer passed by me their phone rings... The customer says out loud " Hmm unknown number I don't usually answer unknown numbers" then answers the phone and walks out the door and away from the store. Well I go ahead and lock the door since it was closing time. I had another customer in the store so I rang that customer up and as I was going to let them out the one customer that answered the phone and left tried to come back in. I politely told the customer sorry that we are closed. So that customer decides to get in contact with my boss and cause a big scene!

 Luckily my boss trust me enough to believe my story and see my side of it along with the customers side. Here's the thing that really "Grinds my Gears" as Peter Griffin from Family Guy would say. I understand the customer makes it to where I have a job and I am very grateful for that... really truly I am!! My thing is if I am going to have to let customers in after closing time when do you say enough is enough and actually close? I mean really where can you go to a business that closes at a certain time, walk in two minutes before close then walk out and expect to be let back in two minutes after closing time?!!

 I guess that is the difference between a big company and a little one. It's just sad how customers have no respect for little companies and take advantage of them. Needless to say out of the almost four years I have worked for this small business this is the first time I have had a customer complain about me. The sad part is the customer who complained about me is one that I have had many a friendly conversations with and had gone out of my way for many of times to make sure that customer walked out with the best product!!
